Jen specializes in treating children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) articulation and phonological disorders. She received her master's degree from Northwestern University and has over 20 years of experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP).

Jen is a graduate of Apraxia Kids Intensive Training program and is recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She attends the Apraxia Kids National Conference yearly and has completed The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Advanced Training (advanced DTTC training) through the Once Upon a Child Foundation. She also has extensive continuing education and expertise in treating articulation and phonological disorders.
Jen tailors speech therapy sessions to each child's unique needs while utilizing evidence-based approaches. These include DTTC, ReST, and Speech Motor Chaining for the treatment of CAS and Minimal Pairs, Phonological Cycles and the Complexity Approach for treatment of CAS and articulation/phonological disorders. ​

Jen participates in the Apraxia Kids Columbus Walk for Apraxia, co-coordinated the 2024 walk and is currently co-coordinating the 2025 walk.
